I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition with a back mechanical window that fell out of its glued-in frame.

I took my car in a few months ago because the back mechanical window that flares out fell off the GLUED IN side of the frame.  When it got home I told my husband that it was a different window.

The dealership that sent it out to a window shop to be repaired says that it is not a new window  Tthis cost me $130.  There were definite markings on the old window that are not in this new one and glass down beside the 3rd seat.  It fell out again -- along with the electrical wiring -- so we took it back and they told us that they couldn't fix an aftermarket window and would need to sell us another one for $600.00.

They glued it back on again and sent it home.  I have not opened it yet.  Although yesterday we shut a door and the darn thing fell out again!  So now I have a lovely duck-taped window.

I am not pleased with this Ford product.  I am sure missing that Dodge conversion van now.  I thought this expedition was going to be a long lasting vehicleI'm seeing that it won't be.

Think I'll head on over to the GMC dealer next!
