My 1995 Chrysler Cirrus won't start and generates codes.

The car won't start so I did a diagnostic test with the keys.  It came up with codes 11, 12, 55.

I think it's the crank sensor.

Does anyone know where that sensor is located and do I have to remove the transmission?

Get a Chiltons Manual at the public library for your car;s year and model. In that you will find directions and pictures of everything you need to deal with.

If you want to spend a few bucks for a manual at the car parts store, it won't be as comprehensive or expensive, but any information is better than none.

The manual will also tell you what the codes mean in terms of parts and what may be wrong with them.

You can make the best decision based on your skill, whether to go to the shop or do it yourself.
