My 1996 Ford Windstar's rear wheels are locked.
 

My rear tires are locked up and I was wondering if the emergency brake could be expanding in the cold.  It is now -5F.

Could this temperature cause this or what could might?

We don't use the emergency brake and the van sat for 4 days.

I tried going back and forth to free them, but no luck.
