My 2000 Ford F-150's automatic door locks will work about half the time.

It doesn't matter if I am using keyless control or the button in the truck.

They act as if there's not enough power to unlock/lock the doors.

Any ideas are appreciated.

You need to replace the lock mechanism. I had a 2000 Windstar and had to replace all the lock mechanisms.

The new assemblies are redesigned and are more robust.

I have the same problem, but mine quit working all together.

They make a sound like they are trying, but nothing happens.

Did you find anything out?
