My Maytag is model MSD2556.  It is 4 years old and broken.   The defrost system is broken, the icemaker/water dispenser is broken, the shelves fall out, the door liner is cracked, and small parts fall off.

Maytag and Sears will not repair any of the parts because there is only a 1 year warranty on it.

I expected a more reliable and quality product for $1,449.  I have read reports from other consumers with the same model that have had the same problems.

Maytag does not acknowledge a problem with these refrigerators.  Obviously, if after only 4 years people are having the same problems, there has to be something wrong somewhere.  I recommend to all consumers buying a new refrigerator, Do Not Buy Maytag!
