After spending 20 minutes just trying to find the White/Westinghouse Home Page to voice my complaint, I am turning to you.
 

Apparently their site is not available at this time. 

I purchased a White, White/Westinghouse : - ), coffee maker less than a year ago.  Two days ago the red On/Off light would no longer come on, but it would still make coffee.  Yesterday, when I pressed the On button, sparks flew.   I immediately unplugged it.

Is this an isolated case or have there been other complaints about this coffee maker?  It has no model number, etc., on it anywhere.  Sorry to cry to you when I had tried to reach them, but that does not seem possible at this time.

I have another company on my never buy their products again list...and I may add them it.
