I was a regular customer of Target Stores.

I always paid cash.  One day I was in and the checker asked me if I would like a credit card.  I don't use credit cards but she told me that she would get some recognition if I got one through her.

Actually I didn't want one and I didn't intend using it but . . . .   She also promised me 10% of my purchases if I got one too, so ...  The 10% was supposed to come with my card when it came, or so she said.

Three weeks later I got a letter.  I could not have a credit card from Target stores.  Stranger in town?  Not really.  I've lived in this place almost 20 years.  I was insulted.

I will never darken Target Stores again until Hell freezes over.

I was insulted.  I am 76 -- age discrimination?  I am also British (from England.)  Ethnic discrimination?

You tell me.
