I called AOL and told them I wanted to cancel my membership.
The horrible customer
service agent told me that I was not able to cancel until my billing date at first.
I asked if she was trying to imply that I can't cancel a membership in advance.
After a pause she tried to get me to call back on my billing date.
I was forced to
make it very clear "I WANT MY MEMBERSHIP CANCELED NOW" --- after
this month I want it no more. Still she tried to get me to call later.
Getting angry I told her to cancel it right now!
She finally said "ok" and that after this month was up I would be
canceled. Two months later I am still getting notices of withdrawal from my bank
account and after many emails and calls it is still not canceled!
