I canceled my internet service and was told that my credit card would not be charged again. But...
 

But the following month PeoplePC Online charged my credit card again.

I called support again and was told that I didn't disconnect my service and was just on an extended leave from the service.

They obviously do this to all who disconnect and hope that the person will not see the charges continue on the credit card.

The original person who took my disconnect call knew exactly what I wanted but failed to give me a confirmation number or tell me that it was required.

He was obviously trained to perform this way.

Others beware of this PeoplePC practice.
