I am a loyal Hilton Honors customer.
Recently researched Embassy Suites Hotels in Anaheim.
I found a wonderful "Net Direct" rate and
booked a seven-night stay for November.
When I received my confirmation e-mail, I
was surprised to see the location listed at a hotel
six miles away.
I immediately called Hilton Customer
Service to see if I could move my reservation to the Anaheim South
location and was informed that I could not cancel because of the special
Net Direct rate. That rate had already been
charged to my credit card.
I explained that I did not want to
cancel, only change the location of my visit.
Please understand that this is a simple
request -- I want to transfer the reservation that I have already paid
for to the Embassy Suites Anaheim South location. You already have my
payment, so this should not be difficult for you to do.
The reservation mentioned above is a
family vacation for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Please help me make our holiday as
special as possible by granting my request.
I spend thousands of dollars in your
hotels each year for business and personal travel and have always
enjoyed my stays at Embassy Suites.
I do not wish to end my relationship with
Hilton or Embassy Suites, but this frustrating experience may cause me
to consider other hotel chains next time I travel.
