I had a great experience with www.mtl-autoparts.com.  If anyone has had any troubles shopping for car parts online, I strongly suggest you give these guys a try.  They claim they're Canada's #1 online auto parts store, they definitely act like it!

I still want to say:

This site really worked great!  I filed a complaint and almost forgot about it.  One day my wife visited this site and read my complaint  ---   she knew it was my complaint because I had talked so much about the darn store and the products they sell.  She said I should go back to the store and let them know that they we getting 'free publicity' at the complaint center on the Internet.

I went to the store, found the manager, and told her about this site.  She then asked about my problem and we discussed the product and employee follow-up.

Next thing I knew the manager replaced the product (after I brought the defective one back).  She assured me that she would talk with the staff about the meaning of customer service in her store's operation.

This site is like an instant Better Business Bureau.  I like the idea and at least it will give on the satisfaction knowing someone else can share in your complaint.  Many businesses today are very anti-service due to lack of employee training and spirit for the company.  I am a retired Delta Airlines employee and I always sold Delta even on my days off.  It was my bread and butter.  If this spirit could be instilled in the car dealerships, appliance stores, etc. our economy would get even better.  Keep up the good work.  Oops!  You asked for a suggestion, didn't you... instead I taught you how to build a clock!

Please be advised that the company has contacted me after I sent them a message about posting a notice and contacting the BBB.  They are making good on the promise to stand behind their product.  I rescind my complaint about the company.

I don't think that anything can make the "giants" change their ways, but anything is worth a try.


It's about time...

It's about time we were able to voice our opinions and let consumers know what real crooks are all about....  And our government allows this to happen.   I would like to see a 'no vote' on the ballots.  'No' we don't want any of the candidates listed.  I will not be voting....


Now I know at least I am not alone:

Now, through this website, I finally realize that I am not the only victim of "Progen".  I bought a ProGen PC a year ago and had experienced small problems here and there.

Recently, I just upgraded a Sony rewritable CD ROM to it and somehow, the monitor blew out right after the installation. Now, I have no one to turn to for help as they are nowhere to be found.  I don't know whether I should just replace the monitor or to prevent further damages -- replacing the overall system, which cost me $1,760 merely a year ago!

Never thought I would be trapped by a scam. I guess I will never buy anything from any new or less reputable company.

I wish there was some way that the heads of these companies knew about this site.  Then, maybe there would be more action on complaints.

My comment is:

Most of the time paying bills is a miserable experience.  This month I had lost my statement and dreaded to call because most service representatives are not friendly.  Upon calling the Verizon Visa customer service line I talked to a man named Russ who was wonderful.  He answered all my questions and was very helpful in my payment installment process.  If only paying the bills were always this pleasant.

My comment is:

My family recently vacationed in Orlando, Florida, and we had a wonderful visit to the local theme parks.

One of the best moments of our Christmas vacation was when our family participated in the daily Macy's Holiday Parade at Universal Studios' theme park.   We were able to help escort one of the huge balloons and it was tremendous fun to "steer" the balloon as part of about a dozen people assigned to it.

Everyone at Universal treated us very courteously and this was the high point of our week in Orlando.

We're still very enthusiastic about the Disney theme parks, but Universal seems to have studied what Disney did right (and wrong) and Universal works hard to make a day at their parks very positive, fun, and memorable.
